Every meeting in Process PA moves through a predictable set of states. Understanding them makes it clear which actions are available at any moment — and why some are deliberately blocked. This keeps your records consistent and your minutes trustworthy.
A typical meeting flows like this:
Start → Pause → Resume → Reset → Close → Re-open → Finalize → Sign
Alongside that flow, a scheduled meeting can also be Re-scheduled to a new date or Cancelled.
| Action | What it does | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Start | Begins a scheduled meeting | Start a meeting |
| Pause / Resume | Stops and restarts the timer | Pause and resume |
| Reset | Returns a started meeting to scheduled | Reset a meeting |
| Close | Ends the meeting, with or without finalizing | Close a meeting |
| Re-open | Reopens a closed meeting for changes | Re-open a meeting |
| Finalize / Sign | Locks and signs the minutes | Finalize and sign |
| Re-schedule | Moves a scheduled meeting | Re-schedule |
| Cancel | Cancels a meeting | Cancel a meeting |
Process PA only offers the actions that make sense for the current state, and blocks the rest:
These guardrails mean you can’t accidentally take an action that would compromise the integrity of your minutes.
